We are raising money to install two Pickleball courts near the swimming pool in Goins Park. The development of pickleball courts aligns with the commitment to enrich the recreation and beautification of Lake City.
If we meet our fundraising goal, we will have enough funds for:
Shaded area with seating/picnic tables
and other amenities!
We wanted to be involved in a sport for physical and social reasons. So, we decided to learn how to play Pickleball and quickly realized how much we enjoyed the sport and how many more people wanted to learn. We have been playing on homemade courts for three years now. Almost every local community already has Pickleball courts, but we want to play in our community and decided the old tennis courts in Lake City are the answer.
They should be in on Thursday. A pair of paddles and indoor balls for $32.99.
